I did a search and I see some folks have had problems w/ the act light guns and the WG7400 monitors.
I WANT an arcade monitor when I build the main cabinet. As I look through Happ Controls website, I am confused as to which monitor is the best for a MAME cabinet. (There are a few WG model lines to choose from...)
BUT, this one is on sale! Will this monitor work w/ Arcade vga?

I want a big monitor!

The monitor linked to is an VGA/SVGA monitor. It does not require an ArcadeVGA card to use it, although it can (with the proper drivers for Windows). It's not a good monitor for arcade gaming. Is a monitor that is made for displaying 31kHz and upwards resolutions. It won't give you an authentic picture for most arcade games as you will need to stretch the picture to fit the screen.
I recommend the Hantarex (http://www.hantarex.com) Polostar or WG (http://www.wellsgardner.com/) D9200 for authentic arcade display as they support true 15kHz and 25kHz resolutions.

Does anyone know if Hantarex has a US distributer? I see that they have a 25" 15-35 khz monitor...

OK, WHICH WG d9200? The standard one or the golden tee one?
What is the difference?

The one you want is:
27 Inch D9200 Digital Monitor - Universal (15/25/31 KHZ)
Identifier: WGM2792-U0TS42A
You need the one with the 15/25/31 Khz video ranges for full MAME goodness. :)
