Hi,
I have a MAMED 19 Inch dynamo cabinet. The cabinet has 2 Joysticks and 6 buttons per player. I would like to add a Track ball and (possibly) a spinner. I've been looking for a blank (no holes) CP that I could customize for this but have had very little luck. (even Dynamo no longer makes CP that size).
My control panel is 23 1/2 Inches wide. So adding the track ball and spinner will be a tight fit.
I have heard that there are extended Control panels that will fit my existing cabinet. The question is where can I find them? Who sells them?
Note: I have almost zero Wood working skills (not to mention zero metal skills) so making my own is out.

Yeah, NOS, or even NEW Dynamos CPs would be great. Best bet would be to take the existing one to a metal shop, see how much it would be to make a new one.
Is it a cut corner one?

I did a couple of extended panels of dynamos. Worked out fairly well, and a fairly easy construction on it... should be fairly easy to do a 2 player setup that isn't even as wide as those.

Yes it is a cut corner CP.
Any idea how much they would run for?

No clue. Get a few quotes. Likely ~$50 or so. Hopefully less.

I am having 4 panels made at the moment. 2mm mild steel 660mm long and 340mm deep by 90mm high. They are fairly simple i.e. there is only one fold but I was quoted $50 NZ which is approx $32.50 US.

That's really good for four panels. Dynamo cut corners have a couple folds, plus added 'corners' welded in. A bit more work, I'm afraid!

I had heard that they make custom CP (as well as selling other MAME cab goodies)

I've also got a dynamo cab, though whover the previous owner was of this poor thing managed to massacre the layout of the buttons, they're uneven and the whole thing is just laid out poorly. I've got 2 joysticks with 3 buttons each, and would love to go to a 6 or 7 button (6 plus the "NeoGeo Button") layout.
Does anyone know of any resources for:
A.) Getting a replacement panel
B.) Building a replacement panel, preferably without requiring modification of the cabinet itself
C.) Plans/drawings of a dynamo control panel so I can get it built by a pro
D.) Any other info on Dynamo cabinets
These things make fantastic mame cabinets, but right now I'm slightly stuck as far as upgrading...

Hi,
I have been looking for a dynamo control panel (blank) myself and I have had very little luck.
If all you need is a replacement control panel they are pretty easy to find. (ebay ,etc).
If you are looking for a particular layout (or no layout like I am) then they pretty hard to find.
I tried dynamo and since my cabinet is older they no longer make cp for it. (they do make CPs 25 inches wide)

Jamesgames is the only place I have found (so far) willing to make CP for me. But I still don't know pricing.
Hopefully some else has an idea where to get them..
