Title: Dreamcast arcade sticks use analog ?
Post by: Negativecreep0 on April 17, 2004, 03:19:21 pm
Do the dreamcast official joysticks made by companies like the pic below, emulate the usage of the d pad? or analog stick on the controller?

usuall the d-pad. I think some may have switches, but then they wouldn't be analog, just 100% of the direction.

I have opened up a few of those most use the same method as the d-pads use with the silicon and the constacts on a pcb board.  Very few actually use mircro switches and I havent seen a single one that has been analog.

The short answer is no.
