Title: Screen Tearing

What is the best way to prevent screen tearing during side-scroller gameplay?   Do you guys use command line options on regular mame? If so, what works best?  Or do you use a mame derivative such as smooth mame or advance mame?

Enable triplebuffer and/or vsync.
