Unsure if this poll has been done or not.
I was just looking to see what kinda pc's people were usin and then depending on your pc spec what software setup you are using. I.e. : OS and Fe and emulators and such.
In my mind this would help some of us out.. yes? no?
thx

my last build before this upgrade was a p3 750, 256ram, same cards

I'm in the minority with the P4, I decided on this mainly as they tend to run cooler / not require as much cooling as quick AMD's. I don't want to hear any noise from this PC, so I got a Zalman silent PSU and a CoolerMaster blower CPU fan. The CPU fan can be heard at high revs, but it can be slowed down quite a lot since it pushes more air than regular axial fans. My desktop AMD system works great but is as loud as a vacuum cleaner!! :D

CPU: 1.8 P4,
RAM: 256
EMULATORS: MAME, Kawaks.
I'm running the video out of my computer to my nearby arcade cabinet with s-video in (to TV). And hacked PS controllers from my USB to the CP.
This allows me to play PS2 games with simple switching, and my computer is in the same room, and it's the only one I have, so this works perfectly.
