Title: Multiple emus vs one
Post by: Shieldwolf on April 13, 2004, 12:44:14 pm
I was just wondering. What people thought of mess.

Does it work better than getting an emu specifically for say nes or genesis or other?

depends upon your definition of "better"

mess, like mame, strives for accuracy.  So the systems it supports are emulated more accuracy, however this may mean that they aren't fully emulated, because many console emulators use cheap hacks to get some chip features to run.

It won't even run snes, for example.
