Does anyone know how an ADstick works? In particular on 'Escape from the planet of the robot monsters'.
With normal controls it's almost unplayable. Keeps walking in one direction without stopping. Info on the web hasn't been too helpful.

According to KLOV, it uses a hall-effect joystick. This should be similar to a standard analog joystick that plugs into the gameport or USB. I would not expect most arcade joysticks to work well.

That's a bit of a bummer. Always did like that game.

$30 for a couple of analog joysticks and another removable CP and you'll be all set, (and be able to play Afterburner and paperboy too).
