Title: FYI: Speaker grilles

I tried Oscar's PC speaker hack, but WICO had the speaker grilles on backorder. From a previous post I saw a link about grilles at http://www.chokes.com/rbsd.htm and thought I'd give them a try. I ordered 4 of the 5-3/8" diameter grilles (no minimum) and recieved them in about 4 days (The guy even called me the day after my order to double check my zip code).  They fit the Bob Roberts 8 ohm 5 watt shielded 4X4 speakers perfectly.

These grilles, do not have mounting stems like the WICO's but you can use machine screws and paint the heads as a substitute. I'm very happy with the results and very happy with the service from Chokes Unlimited.

(I know this seems like a useless post, but it'll make the thread much easier for me to find down the road when I actually get around to ordering  ;) )
