Title: LED Resistors

When soldering a LED to a resistor, does it matter which leg you solder it to?

No.  It will limit the current wherever it is in the circuit.

If you are new to soldering I would recommend attaching a clip-on heatsink onto the led wire that you are soldering between the led and where you are soldering.  Leds can be killed by applying too much heat to them.

Actually, I've suprised myself.

All is well, as all of the LEDs are functional  ;D
