Title: my now no longer un-named cabinet
Post by: nikfaulkner on April 04, 2004, 01:40:50 pm
another update on my new cabinet, i've spent another 9 hours or so
and things are coming on nicely.

here's my previous post...

http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=10;action=display;threadid=17593

since last weekend i've re-designed the top half of the cab, got the pc running with win98 and mamewah. configured mame, zsnes, gensfe and mekaw. i've also wired my control panel up to the ipac (worked first time)

i've spent the last day and half on the construction, at this point i'd say i've got most of the "big" stuff out of the way. the main cab is now freestanding and sturdy (much to my suprise) i need to now sort out the bezel, plexiglass, marquee, and fit the sound system.

i've also got a name for the machine as well, "retro gamestation"

as normal any constructive comments are more than welcome

Looks great, I like the name also. It looks like your living in a loft, right? I used to own one on Michigan Ave. in Chicago and it looked very similar with the exposed brick, ducts and huge windows. I am now a suburbanite, but I do enjoy parking where i want ;D
