I've had a number of requests for my circular Mame logo and posted the Illustrator  files of the first versions on Mahuti's site. Since then I've revised the colors and tweaked the look to include these glassy elements. If there's any interest in these, I'll post these as well. They are all vector files (Illustrator 9 or later).

Pixelhugger,

Where exactly did you upload these vector images?  If you're referring to the FTP site, I'm unable to connect to it at the moment.  Seems that the login may have been changed..

Oh, and if you put them at some place other then Mahuti's FTP site, would you mind listing the site?  I'm not familiar with all the sites just yet.

I've pulled the stuff off of the FTP site tonight.

I am over disk quota, and getting charged like crazy. Bandwidth is fine, but I've maxed out storage...  for the FTP. I miscalculated that sites storage, but I'll move the FTP to somewhere else. The Vector library is in fine shape however.

Are the vectors for these images available anywhere?  I just check Mahuti's site and only saw two of the images.  Do you know if they'll be around for download soon?

The blue and orange logo are already on Mahuti's vecrtor site (http://www.localarcade.com/4images/categories.php?cat_id=10&sessionid=3e880eee5fd5ba3724db2ac5271440ac). You need to add the glassy ball from that illustrator tutorial though.

Those are the best MAME logos in existence, bar none.  Two questions...

Is there any way you can work red into the second logo on the top row?  I have red/blue/yellow/green buttons and that would be sweet.  If that is too many colors, can someone work that logo up with the red background at

OK, forget adding colors; I'm learning Illustrator.  :)

Can we just get the vector files for the logos that are complete?  Looks like the files at the artwork library are slightly different (less polished) than those in this thread.

Bumping yet again....Pixelhugger, where are these beautiful vectors hiding?  Please release them if you haven't changed your mind!  They're great images and perfect for a cabinet...I'm tempted to stick a huge one smack dab in the middle of my sideart(once I build a cabinet that is...)

But please post the files somewhere, unless you've decided to keep them private.

Yay!  I disappear for a hectic week and I come back to vectorized logos!  Now I just have to start a cabinet...once I finish cutting the wood and building a fence tomorrow, then a new wooden housing unit for the water heater, and tear off two patio roofs.  Oh life is too busy ;)
