I am interested in burning my own chips, can anyone recommend a good, all around burner that doesn't cost an arm and leg?
Thanx,
Bitnerd.

Would be interested in anyone's comment's on this programmer.

Dang, this looks really good bro! Definantly a price that is up my alley. I might have to make a bid. Thanx for the info.

So I would be able to copy chip sets off old arcade games right?

Since we're talking EPROM burners here I have a related question regarding burning rom images to eproms for the purpose of making your own Atari carts. I'm not sure if this is Kosher to be discussing here since it involves roms (however I'm talking homebrew roms that are legal to download), but if anyone here has some eprom burning experience I'd really apprecitate an email or a PM. stingrayg4@prodigy.net

Ouch! Thats the cheapest I've seen a programmer. Another "wrong place, wrong time" situation

I purchased "The Pocket Programmer" from ebay a few years back, and I've been really happy with it. It requires DOS to work, but it connects to the PC via a parallel port (don't have to crack your case to insert/remove ROMs) which is a big win.
I burned a few dozen eproms with it for various projects over the years (Gauntlet/Gauntlet2 multigame, Pengo high-score-save hack, etc) and it's been great.
