Hello All;
I just received my artwork back from Scott at www.mamemarquees.com. I could not be happier. :D
Not only was he able to print my oversize 48x19 artwork. His was a lot cheaper then some of the "others" out there and most of the "others" couldn't even print my oversize artwork. He even printed my panel artwork on coated vinyl, so I don't need to put any plexi overtop. And the marquee is very glossy. I can't wait to mount these on the weekend. (See attached pics)
The service Scott gives is excellent!! He answered all my questions in less then 12hrs and even sent me a picture of the marquee for my approval.
Feel free to contact me should you have any questions about his service. And make sure you contact Scott at www.mamemarquees.com before you decide who to use to print out your artwork.
Thanks and Thanks Scot!!

For the one control panel did you get some inspiration from the control panel for Asteroids? ;D
-
I made the Asteroid panel in Illustrator using the Asteroid panel from the vector library.
1st) On Layer 1, I pasted the Asteroids panel from the Vector Library. Removed all the button cutouts.
2nd) Created a new Layer, Layer 2, and made a shape in the outline of my panel.
3rd) Then I selected both layers and Enveloped the 2 to together. "Object--> Enveloped Distort --> Make With Top Level."
It took me a few hours to play around with this funcationaity as I never used Illustrator before. But now I could do it in minutes.
One thing that have now is an Illustrator file of my Control Panel shape, so I can easily apply any other vector image to my panel shape.

How much did all of that cost to print? How long did it take to have it done?
-
Is control panel overlays a new business for them? I can't find anything about it on the site.
-
I won't say how much I paid, as I got a deal since I had a lot of stuff to get printed.
I emailed him my files on Monday and it was printed and mailed on Wednesday. So it took 2 days to get everything printed. And it took a week for the artwork to come in the mail.
Not sure Control Panel overlays are a new business. As he told me he's printed overlays in the past. But I'm one of the first customers to have the special laminate process applied to the overlay. With this laminate, I don't need to protect the artworkwith a sheet of plexi. But I know he's been printed oversized artwork for a long time. I just emailed him asking if he could print the sizes I was looking for. And he said "Yes".

You can get an idea of the prices if you check out the website:
Customer Designed Marquee any size up to 9"x 28" $19.95 plus shipping
Customer Designed Side Art any size up to 13"x 35" two for $52.95 plus shipping
Customer Designed Side Art any size up to 20"x 26" two for $62.95 plus shipping
Larger sizes can be printed, email me for a quote
Prices seem pretty reasonable. My 4 player cab is going to need a big CPO, I plan on getting a quote from these guys once I get the art finalized.
-
I saw that list too and I was missing the laminated CPO prints.

My control panel overlay artwork is 48x19. So it's for a 4 player panel as well.

Did someone order from both MameMarquees.com (http://www.mamemarquees.com) and ClassicArcadeGrafix.com (http://www.classicarcadegrafix.com)? I would be interested to know how these two compare.

Me too :)
I'd like to see in particular how the control panel material differs, if at all...
Artwork looks great btw GGKoul :)
