I am using a MAME cabinet with a keyboard I-PAC4 interface.
Can somebody suggest some jukebox/karaoke software that can be used with the MAME cabinet buttons only (no mouse & keyboard). I'd like one that can startup at bootup and can display karaoke videos.
Thanks.

I think your sticking point, and the reason you've had all those views but no posts on your thread, is the karaoke videos. I don't believe there is a jukebox out that does the karaoke videos. I could be wrong, but in searching for juke software myself, I don't recall any karaoke features.
There ARE juke type programs out there that CAN do video, but I don't think they will serve your purposes, as they are intended to play videos OR jukebox type things.
Check out the thread lisiting all the juke software. Search them. Also, check out Media Engine (http://www.mediaengine.org). I know it's for cars, but LOOK at it it. It may serve some/most of your purposes or it may give you an idea or two to try instead.
I'm almost positive you'll have to scratch the karaoke feature or code a program yourself to do that.

I now am correcting myself. I was perusing PartyTime Jukebox FAQ's for info I was looking for and saw the karaoke stuff. So there. PartyTime Jukebox is what you should investigate.
I've taught you how to fish, go feed yourself....good luck

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
Please explain the above quote. If the software can play videos, then it can play the karaoke videos I have in mind. No need for CDA (i think that's what it's called) compatibility.
Partytime jukebox has too many buttons. I need something that plays a song without having to press a play button, etc. I recently rented a machine that was exactly what I wanted but at the time had no intentions of building one so didn't check what the software was. The software appreared almost dos based but the machine was running win2000 (could tell by the bootup). I was hoping someone might have known of one because I don't think the guy renting them would be willing to give his business info away. Oh, and as to his programming skills.......I'm pretty sure he didn't write up the software. The place was called Carig Williams Promotions in Berwick Australia.

Oh, and I've been through your list and haven't found what I'm looking for.

I don't karaoke, so I was thinking the videos had to be timed/played with the music. If I understand you correctly, you're saying the video holds the music, words, and all the rest.
If that's the case, that media engine seems to do that as well. I don't know about the controls, though, since I was only looking to play music with it.
If it was a DJ guy who had something set up like you wanted, I'd say check Google for karaoke DJ software.
