Title: Stupid News Group Question

I have a question, I currently use Outlook express to go through newsgroups. There are all these messages that have the binary file imbedded in them. I can't find a way through outlook express to get these files. Is there a free peice of software that can split this out and download the file or is there a way to configure outlook express to get these files. Any help is appreciated.

are you talking about all that jibberish with all those hyperlinks?  i would like to know how to download files as well.

Do yourself a big favor and toss Outlook Express.  Go get a real news reader such as Agent (http://www.forteinc.com).  It will handle the binary attachments MUCH better.

Use Xnews.  It is good but not immediately self explanatory -- read its instructions.
