Title: Mamewah Layout How-To?
Post by: Knievel on March 27, 2004, 12:48:51 am
Well I e-mailed Minwah about this but I thought I'd ask here too as I'm anxious to get started on my own layout.

Does anyone know if there's any literature or even a tutorial for the Mamewah Layout designer? I fired it up and I don't have a clue where to start :-\

Thanks

I just answered this bye email but it probably wasn't very helpful  :-\

For the good of the board I don't think there is a tutorial anywhere, and I can't even remember what was in my Readme, but I don't think it contained instructions as such :(

My advice is to play around with it and ask me if you get stuck! :)

Hey Minwah, tried it again last night and figured it all out. I didn't realize that that it controls just the layout and not the backround image. I used Photoshop to create that which I guess is the usual method?
Hope to contribute some skins soon, I'm working on a Philadelphia Flyers one for a friend right now.

Thanks for giving us the tools to tweak an already amazing Front-end!  :D

Yep, use Photoshop or equiv. for your background images.  The Layout Designer just enables you to place/hide/show/etc. the objects.

Good luck with your layouts :)
