Hello,
I just got an old arcade cabinet with a coindoor identical to this one: (http://www.arcadecontrols.com/files/Uploads/9a_1_b.jpg)
But there are no coin mechs and the wires have been cut or they're messed up. Either way all I have is the coindoor and I need everything else.
I want to set this up to any coin can add a credit and will need microswitches to do this....where can I get them and how do I power them?
Thanks everyone!!

Hello,
Yes I read them but now I finally have the coindoor and am finally ready to buy. :D Are coin mechs even needed if I want to accept any size coin?
Thanks,

Hmm I dont think I'll need a coin mech after all since I am going to accept any size coin. I guess it's just the microswitches that I need but how do they get setup?

Here is the COIN SWITCH...

Hmm do these have to be powered? I"m just connecting them microswitches to my X-Arcade controller to insert coins.

don't it look like your X-Arcade buttons? but instead its just have a wire sticking out so the coin can trigger it ?
It is just a switch like any other ones you have now. It does not need POWER, all it need is for you to hook it up just like any other push buttons you have in X-Arcade.

Awesome! I had to dig a little in the coin door and whatever junk was still on it and I found the microswitches!! This is definitely going to work!! :D thanks for your help!
I only have 1 black coin return door however and need another one....where can I get one??
THANKS!!!

If you want to accept any coin you just need to build some kind of chute to direct the coin from the coin slot to the point where it trips the switch.
