I just received my x-arcade solo and I notice that I have to press extremely hard in the upwards direction to hear the "click". Therefore pressing up normally on the controller does not work, I have to really yank it up to get it to work.
Is there something I could "adjust" inside the controller, for example move the UP-Switch closer to the controller shaft? ;D I said shaft.
Serioualy though I could use some ideas here.

My joysticks are x-arcade replacements, when i used them as they was suppose to i also found i had to press up really hard to get a click, so i bent the pins on the microswitches so there closer to the center

Eww :-\ Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but I guess if thats the only way then that's what I'll have to do.

I think the instructions even say to open up the back and adjust the pins. There's a picture with the back open here:

Just bend it with needle nosed pliers, there's only about 6 or eight little screws holding the bottom on. Good luck!

Well I bent the pins as suggested and although I'm not impressed with this solutions it does work.
Thanks everyone

Fear not grasshopper :) Worst case scenario you can always buy a new switch if something would break. Switches are pretty cheap. Couple'a bucks.
