Title: Imperial Trackball trade for DDR RAM?
Post by: ashardin on March 23, 2004, 08:49:31 am
I've got an Imperial/Betson trackball that has never been used sitting around collecting dust and am in need of DDR RAM.  Of course, I've got about 6 sticks of SDRAM sitting around that are worthless to me in all of my current MOBO's.  Since this is for a project I want to keep costs down, so I figured I would check here for a trade first, before shelling out the cash.

I've used these trackballs in a few cp projects interfaced to a optipac and they work flawlessly.  I can provide pics too if needed.

Feel free to email me directly at ashardin@yahoo.com if you have some DDR RAM to trade.

Thanks, Andy.

Just an idea, but you could always take your SDRAM to your local computer store (mom and pop type not best buy lol) and see if they would be willing to work out a trade of some sorts with you.   My local shop here in town does it all the time, they just take the memory and make sure its in good working order then they usually knock some money off the memory you want.   Can't hurt to try.  :)

(800) 4-MEMORY

These guys (at least a few years ago) would take RAM in trade for new stuff, and buy old stuff.  I used to take my old RAM to them at computer shows.  Call them and see what they'll do.
