I bought a couple of Linrose Super Bright LED's the other day (white light LED). I am using them to light my mini marquee :

Anyway I am not sure what type of resistor I need (or if I even need one at all).
Power I am connecting them to is +5V
Now the package says Rectifier Diode must be used for AC application (huh? but you can help me with that later)
Then it says 6V 100 ohms for AC
12V 330 Ohms
28V 750 ohms
I want to put 2 diodes in parellel
Well here is all the info on te back. (see pic)
What do I need? Im confused..Help me Obi-one your my only hope.

Using 5V dc I would say that you are safe using a resistor between 150 to 220 ohms. You do not need a rectifier diode if you are powering them from dc.

Oh, I'm glad someone asked this! Not sure how to read mine either! It is part number B4304H6-1. I want to use 12V DC. Am I to read the top chart or the bottom chart because it is a 4304...? I'm an electrical degenerate ???

I have no idea how to read the back of that card. Here are the specifications for your LED. http://www.itcelectronics.com/pdtl-revised.asp?P=3009
The you can use the calculator located here to determine the correct resistor for your LED.

Looking at the chart that you provided I would say that you need the 5.1k or 3.9k 1/4watt resistors. You can you a value as close to the 5k or 3.9k as possible. I would shoot for a 5k as they are really common. So at 12vdc get yourself a 5k and you should be fine.
