Title: retrofitting a cordless logitech wingman

i'm a big fan of wireless controllers.  the best i've found is the rf wireless wingman from logitech.  it has 11 buttons, a digital pad, two analog sticks, and a slider.  i would really like to create an arcade controller using this hardware.  unfortunateley, i lack the electronics experience to convert the analog sticks or the slider to anything useful.  has anyone attempted this or would anyone be interested in taking on a new project?  thanks for the great resource!
