Since there are a few threads on the subject already, I thought I'd start another.
My Ipac LED harness hasn't worked properly since day one. I've emailed Andy about it, but I think he's unavailable right now. Suggestions are appreciated.
When toggling the scroll lock / caps lock / and num lock keys on the keyboard, the harness LEDs flash, but in Mame they don't work at all.
In an Atari game (for example, Tempest), when I load credits, the num lock and cap lock LEDs flash on the keyboard, but they do no light up at all on the LED harness.
In mame.ini, I do have LED support ON. (PS/2)
My keyboard is PS/2
My Ipac is USB
I'm running Windows XP
Thanks....

Try setting LED mode to USB in MAME.ini

Yippee, in Mame32 it works !!!! Thanks T-H.
But.....it's weird as the LEDs do not blink consistantly.
Sometimes they skip an ON blink, and sometimes they skip an OFF blink.
Could it be the PS/2 keyboard / USB Ipac combo that is screwing it up?
AND, the LEDs still do not work in regular Windows Mame.....perhaps I don't have it setup right.
In MAME32.ini, there's the following:
leds 1
led_mode usb
In mame.ini it's:
### Input device options ###
keyboard_leds 1
led_mode USB
Any idea of why it's not working in regular Mame?

Did anyone figure this out? I have the same problem.
