Title: HELP! Hooking up buttons to jpac - no one has a jpac??
Post by: snowdogg187 on March 19, 2004, 01:36:19 am
Hey guys,

Now I need to hook up 6 more buttons to my jpac, any input on this?
I know you hook all the grounds together daisy chained.
but do I just hook each other button to another switch on the jpac?

What connectors should I use, or should I get a soldering iron?

thanks very much!

On a J-PAC, buttons 1-3 for each player are connected through the JAMMA edge connector.

4-8 for each player are connected to the J-PAC using the screw terminals on the board.  just stick the wire in the hole on the side and tighten the screw.
