Title: Seimitsu or Sanwa joystick? Length?
Post by: Ceifeirot on March 16, 2004, 06:30:43 pm
Hello,

I've been researching joysticks for *ages* before ordering anything for my MAME cabinet. I've decided I want the Japanese ball-top style, and Sanwa and Seimitsu look good for this.

After looking around more, I think I'd like the shorter type of joystick - does anyone have any commentary on this?

What I'm wondering is where I'm going to buy a Seimitsu 2/4/8 short joystick (preferrably red), or the equivalnet short Sanwa stick.

Any help/comments are appreciated.

Alex

I've got some 2/4/8 switchable Seimitsus that I bought from www.suzo.co.uk.

Sanwas can be bought from www.ultimarc.com

Do you know of any other places to get the Seimitsu's? I need to order a catalog from that place, and they're based in England.

And Ultimarc only has the long Sanwa's.

I found this page: http://www.seimitsu.co.jp/joystick/index.htm

Any idea where I can buy these? Which is the best one to get?
