Title: 4 Player games
Post by: mpm32 on March 15, 2004, 12:41:06 pm
Any other four-player games along the lines of Shuuz? That game seems to get played the most at my parties mostly because four players can play alternating.

Not looking for 4-player simultaneous game.  Looking for 4-player alternating.

Thanks.

There are some 4 player bowling games.  I can't remeber their names offhand.  Sorry!

Ha ha...  Same here.  When there are a lot of people over it always turns into an all-night Shuuz-a-thon.  Either that or Hat Trick one-on-one, rotating players with whoever loses.

The ones I know are pretty awful and don't ever get played.

You're not calling capcom bowling awful I hope:)

There's also World Championchip Bowling and Shuffleshot.

If you have the adequate control panel buttons, Track and Field and Hypersports are always winners for 4 players.

I have to try these games at my next party!

Coors Light Bowling and Capcom Bowling are essentially the same game.  World Class Bowling is better in my opinion.

I'll add another vote for Shuffleshot.

I wanted to try out Ameridarts, but apparently I have a bad ROM.

I haven't quite gotten the hang of American Horseshoes yet. Shuuz is easier.

Track and Field is the most popular party game at our house, it's not 4 player alternating for every event, sprint and hurdles are 2 at a time but all the other events are 4 player alternating.

Is AmeriDarts playable in any version of MAME?

I get a warning abou No Good Dump and the graphics are corrupted.  There is also a message about the encryption not being fully emulated.

Never mind, I checked the WIP page and I see that it will be a while before this game is fixed.
