All,
The new SlikStik Solitaire Single Player units have been released. They pack a host of standard features; can be upgraded with premium options and sport a dual joystick design.

I could see some folks wanting a small track ball where the
second joy is now.
-
Thats funny!!! I just sent them an email and asked them about that lol.
I would much rather have a trackball on there then the second stick.
But i guess it depends on what kinda games you play the most as to which you setup you would prefer.
I would just be cool to have the choice though.
When i first saw the 170.00 price i thought OMG!!! , thats expensive, but then i saw the spinner and though " ooooo....ok! now it makes sense hehe"

The spinner is a $90 option. ;)

A little more than that actually. I just ordered one of his spinners. Pricey, but very, very cool. 8)

I have a decked out classic unit from them... The fact that the trackball works like a mouse would definitively make it a must in my book... I don't know if a trackball would fit in addition to the two joysticks... But the price is right compared to the x-arcade :)

I can see this being a good alternative for the constructually challenged amongst us.
If you factor in tool costs, it becomes an even better value.
The one change I would make to it, were it mine is to move the spinner down to the left of the left stick.
I've never figured out how people play spinner games with the spinner at the top like that, especially on some of the home-made CP's I've seen, where you have to dodge sticks to get to it.

Although arguably not as 'pretty' as this new SlikStik, another option for the tool-challenged would be http://www.gamecab.com/products.asp?id=23
At a whole lot less.
Or the much-debated X-arcade (with non-Happ controls but is a 2 player), for $150, with very fast shipping included (next day anyone?).
$170 + shipping just seems a bit high for the plain-jane (non-spinner) version, IMO, but I guess no more than their $125 empty boxes.
