I'm ready to mount my Act-Lab light guns into my cabinet, and I'm trying to think of a way to add some "strain relief" to the cable where it enters the inside of the cabinet. I have several young kids and I know that they are going to be yanking on those cords. You can tell them not to and also revoke their arcade privileges, but it will still happen from time to time.
Anyone know of simple way to add some strain relief to the light gun cords?

I'm pretty sure Happs sells something for this. Don't have time to check their catalog or site, now but it'd probably be under accessories or with the other light gun stuff.
EDIT
Look for the "Gun $aver" Optic Gun Hose Clamp Kit in the optical gun section. Should suit your purposes. And after you see what exatly it entails, you can just as easily make your own from a few parts picked up at the local hardware store.

First thing that comes to mind would be adding a spring to the inside of the cab and tying a knot/ putting a ziptie on the cord for something that the spring can push against, kinda like this...

A short piece of heavy rubber automotive hose will probably do nicely... run it through a hole in the cabinet, notch the hose in the back to secure it with an E-clip, maybe add a screw and washer to keep the E-clip against the cabinet wall, and run the gun cable through the hose...
My guns connect to network-style jacks underneath the control panel, and I have strain-relief boots on the connectors.
