Each Coin Mech is $10.00 w/250 Tokens (all same) +S/H.
**** UPDATE******
as of right now, I might be out of TOKENS, so i won't take any orders at this point. I will post back in a WEEK to see if there will be more left. The tokens I have right now are for those PPL that PM me stating they sent the CHECK or MO. So if you have not PM me about sending a CHECK or MO, you might be out of luck.

Hello,
Can these mechs be used for the following:
http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=17123
Can they be setup to accept any coins or just tokens? Do they still accept quarters?
Thanks,
Mark

coin mechs are all same (except what size coin they accept). You can just slap it in the any coin door (except nintendo ones) IMO.
This Mechs accepts this .870 size coin. It doesn't have to be just this COIN but any coin that is .870 in size. A nickle I think is .850 or so. This toekn is a little bigger than a nickle.
-
for all that was interested/ordered. It is now 8:30 am and getting stuff ready to go to P.O. to get the S/H. You should be getting a PM from me soon.
-
ok I got some good news, "I save alot of money by switching to Giecco" :o
Ok now thats out of the way, here comes the bad news. The package is 3.5lbs eac (1 Mech 250 Tokens).
Please check your PM's.
For others that are waiting for a certain day to order, don't worry, I got 50 or more to go and thousands more to go on tokens. ;D
One other thing. If you are sending me an E-mail, please have Coin Mmechs on the subject line. Others that has no subject line gets deleted. T.Y.

I just have the coin door and eject buttons but that's all and I'd like to set it up through the X-arcade to accept the coin. Do you have the mechs and stuff that I'll need as well?
Thanks,
Mark

take a look at the pics. Thats what a Coin Mech looks like. Usually if you have the coin door, it comes with the unit that this COIN MECH get installed into.
The trigger is part of the whole Coin Door assemmbly. If your missing that, you need that as well. This switch is just just like any other buttons that uses uses a microswitch excet it has a wire sticking out of it so when the coin drops, it will catch that coin and trigger the switch. This switch is wired to your X-arcade encoder as #5 and #6 (MAME DEFAULTS).
-
Okay so I'll need some microswitches as well then. I'd like the mechs to accept tokens but also all other coins. I just have the coindoor and the eject buttons.
Everything else I need....do you have everything else. ;)
-
if you want the coin mechs to accept TOkens and other coins, you need to get a Coin Mech that accepts those size coins your talking about. This will only accept .870 size coins. I mean you can play with it and will accept any size. I mean I have mopdified a couple of this babies to accept those new GOLD DOLLARS.
-
Oh! Okay I understand. What about the microchips and stuff where do I get those? I like the token idea though and will do that once I get the cabinet. I'll need 2 of them then with about 500-700 tokens I guess. :)
Thanks,
Mark

you mean the microswitches ?
here is a pic of a coin switch.

Yeah those are exactly what I need! So in all all I need to setup the coins so it deposits in mame are:
- coin door
- eject buttons
- microswitches
- coin mechs + tokens
Do I need to power the microswitches or anything or when I connect them to the buttons on the X-Arcade it will automatically send power out...?
Thanks,
Mark
-
how are you inserting coin in now ? just take those 2 wires and put it in the switch. Take a look at your button switches, the coin swicth is the same thing but with an arm lever.
-
Right now I am just using the two side buttons on the x-arcade dual controller to insert coins.
-
any discounts for 4 mechs and 250 tokens?
-
your S/H will be alot cheaper ;D
-
guess that works - $20 + shipping?
paypall or money order?
