I'm really amazed how there isn't just a dedicated thread about each individual lightgun option.
I have been on this journey for a long time and have gathered pretty much all the info you can about the Optigun/USB2Gun.
I have all the manuals and even a test program that was released with the Optigun that I have never even seen mentioned on here.
I would love if there was somewhere safe to host these files so they could be shared from a single post here.
I know there is a post about how to calibrate these in Windows (I've seen it but I am struggling to find it now! :/)
It would be great if there was just a direct link to that post and everything else about these boards in a dedicated thread.

You’re right, there isn’t a dedicated thread to the Optigun/USB2Gun method.
There are a lot of separate posts about it that could be cherry picked through to gather most of the information required.
Compared to other interface methods, this is quite obscure though…. Probably due to only being usable on CRT’s and it’s availability.
I sold my Lightgun arcade machine using one of these last year. I did have 2 of these at one point, both gave out different results and had to be calibrated differently from what I remember. Either I had a slightly duff one or these boards act differently from one board to another.
