https://github.com/Endprodukt/FFBPluginRacerMAME/releases/tag/1.7 (https://github.com/Endprodukt/FFBPluginRacerMAME/releases/tag/1.7)
Added games:
GTI Club
Midnight Run
Winding Heat
Thrill Drive
Cart Fury
All Sega Model 2 racers (only works with included Mame version for now)
Racing Jam 1/2
Xtreme Rally
Roads Edge
Fixed a bunch of existing stuff, rehooking non working games.
Added a new feature in the GUI called "Constant Inf" that is an alternative way of applying constant effects to your wheel.
If counter forces don't feel smooth you might want to give this a try and see if it works better for you. Big difference here.
Rave Racer has a feature to invert the ffb depending on if you play the game in standard or deluxe variant.
Have fun.

No one are interesting by this ?
But for me and my friends we like your work ;)
Thanks again man :applaud: :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:

The forum is really quiet. But that's fine. More updates to come.

Is this is a fork of Boomslangnz FFBplugin?
-
I want to thank you for taking up the helm on this. FFBAP was and is a treasure in the community. I was pretty against FFBlaster being paywalled in TP, and so any further development of this plugin should be more than applauded.
-
I second this. Great thanks for your work!
-
yes, thank you Endprodukt! I'd like to request FFB for Slipstream, if it pops up :)

It can still be downloaded from github, but you're saying it doesn't work unless you have a TP subscription active? That's... not great.

No, development moved from FFBArcadePlugin (Boomslangnz) to FFBlaster (mightymikem), which is separate and paywalled in TP.
Boomslangnz did more for this community than anyone could have imagined with all of the games he added support for, but alas, it couldn't be sustainable long term for one person to do all of the development.

As far as I know, the FFBPlugin does not require a TK subscription.
-
How about FFBBlaster, tho, given the FFBPlugin is no longer officially updated? They have stopped releasing the FFBBlaster builds on the subthreads in the discord, but as i noted you can still get it from github.
-
I may have mixed them up. I just fired up TK and checked for updates...
FFBBlaster is going from 0.0.0.162 --> 0.0.0.166
So it appears to still be under active development.

I can't find evidence the game ever had any kind of ffb or rumble. No outputs in test menu.

I see. Well, thank you for looking!
Sometime, i'd love to learn how you are modfying the FFBplugin! I can use cheat engine to find values, msot of the time, but that's as far as I've gotten.
-
well that is incredibly helpful because I suck at that. We could eventually make some other games compatible that way that had no real FFB but had output for big moving machines. that can be translated into effects.
Feel free to hit me up on Discord anytime. (same nickname and in plenty of groups)
