other than hot glue what else can I use? converting this cabinet it has 3/4" t-molding so I ordered some 3/4" replacement from t-molding.com but these barely stay on the slot is too big. hot glue gun works its just annoying doing the entire cabinet like that lol :dunno

If you are flexible on the color/style, you might want to look for molding with a thicker spine. I actually ran into the opposite problem recently on an older CP I was re-purposing and just muddled through it, shaving out the slot and forcing where necessary. But I really wanted to use the 3/4" chrome-stripe t-molding I had available and it has a wider spine. It would probably fit the slot you have just fine.
The only thing I can think to do, other than the obvious glue solution, might be to cut some sections of tape of an appropriate thickness to give you a good bite, and wrap those small pieces over the spine every couple of inches to help keep it in place. It might be cleaner and more reversible than the hot melt, which is difficult to make look uniform.

where do I get t-molding with thicker spine? I thought t-molding.com were the main supplier but I dont see it on their site its all the same for 3/4" molding. looking for standard black color and smooth. thx

oh right this cabinet actually came with the black and silver stripe maybe those have thicker spine. the panel is already done really dont wanna mess with that again..if I go with silver then I will have a mixed up cabinet lol

Had the same thing happen on my T molding. Fortunately it was just wonky in a few areas. I filled those with bondo and rerouted those areas to tighten/straighten up. T molding went in fine afterwards.

I'd do this. Buy a roll of good masking tape from the local home improvement store and tape the T-molding spine down the whole length. That should thicken up the spine and tighten everything up without becoming a permanent mess (glue).

yes hoping that does the trick. would hate to have multi colored molding on this thing..and I gotta go through the hassle of returning then
