Title: IPAC-2 +Pac-Link +Sanwa joystick and buttons +Xbox 360?
Post by: iRunfast on August 13, 2025, 06:16:11 am
Hi,

First time here :)
Need help with controls.

My setup;
1 player arcade cab with 1 joystick and six player buttons (all Sanwa) + 10 extra/available buttons. (Built the cab myself).
32” lcd monitor in Tate mode
Xbox 360 RGH 3.0 only running Tate schmups
I-PAC-2 (2015)
Pac-Link

Is it possible to get this setup to work, I mean is it possible to control/play the 360 via the Sanwa controls?
Where do i start?

Regards

I did this a while ago. I had used a RS232-input KVM to swap the monitor input to the x360 and a ton of relays to redirect the output from the happ buttons to a soldered 360 pad instead of my ipac2. That was 11 years ago. Now, most xbox 360 tates are on steam and/or Xenia is far enough along that you may not need that 360 at all anymore. If I were to do it again, I would consider steam + xenia, and ditch the 360 completely. It will simplify things A LOT.
