Title: Terminator 2D No Fate
Post by: danny_galaga on August 05, 2025, 07:52:52 pm

Just read about this in Retro Gamer magazine. They've already played it. Looks great, and available on PC, PS4, PS5 and switch. I think I'll get it. They've also hinted at doing a port for a classic system. I'd love it on the mega drive, as they've done mega drive stuff before. But it seems you'd need some grunt for this, so I dunno. Maybe neogeo .

I've been keeping an eye on this one, looks great. Definitely going to be making a purchase when it gets released.

This is either going to be great or terrible.  I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about Xenocrisis and I’ve got it on NeoGeo, NeoGeo CD, and Genesis.  Lame they couldn’t get Arnold.

Almost certainly Arnold either flat out said no, or asked too much. His prerogative.

No Arnold = No Point

May as well have called it "Robot Wars" or something.  He's literally the franchise.

Oh well, I'll play it anyway.

I'm guessing option B. I bet he would've been up for it, but I can imagine the cash he would've wanted to do it was astronomical.

If you're after a decent Terminator game in the meantime, Terminator Resistance is pretty good fun. It flew entirely under my radar on its initial release, but I picked it up for the PS4 last year (or maybe the year before? Can't remember) and had a good time with it.

What I'm interested in with Terminator 2D is that it's, well, 2D!
