Title: Merit Megatouch XL6000 Extreme Clear Books Message

Hi

I picked up a Merit Megatouch XL6000, and every time it boots up I'm asked if I want to clear the books - is that normal?  Thanks!

I just upgraded to Titanum version, and not only do I get the book clearing message but I also get a what kind of print do I want, with a choice of normal and extreme I think.  Isn't there a way to eliminate these messages? They're really annoying.....Thanks!

Problem solved.  Anyone else having this issue unplug the printer cable on the IO board and both messages disappear.
