Title: Merit Megatouch "Error 3" Pit Boss G20-100-001

I have been working on a Meritt Megatouch G20-100-001 CRT-250 and everything was working perfectly for a few days and then suddenly I get error 3 when booting it.

I have read that it is likely the Dallas chip that has gone bad but was wondering if there is anything else that could possibly trigger an Error 3 besides the Dallas chip.
