Hi,
I'm looking to take a u360 stick and replace the black casing with a Tron stick type casing. Was thinking of taking a GRS Tron stick and use that casing on the U360. I did find the old thread using a Happ stick and 360 but a happ stick is going for over 200 on happ, which i'd rather not spend. any thoughts?

I bought one of each hoping to do the same thing. I think the shaft on the GRS Tron Stick is larger, could have been the other way. You would need to make or 3d print an adapter. I also think one clamped around the shaft where the other bolted through it.

I had a Tron stick I bought used many years ago. Because I used it for more then just Tron I didn't like the way it played. The 360fs looked like a great solution to use it in multiple formats. I mounted the Tron handle to the 360fs with a adapter I made on my lathe. The Tron shaft is much larger. I needed to extend the wire a little bit but it works great. It isn't quite as firm as the original though.

That looks exactly like what I'm trying to do. I took them apart, but cant find a way to get the tron stick to mount on the shaft of the u360 as BlueGhost mentioned with how it mounts. what does the adapter you made look like? I wonder if I could 3D print something as I don't have access to a lathe.

In the next couple of days I will be pulling it apart to add a stiffer spring. I will take a pic of it and post it.

Here is a picture of my adapter. This is for factory Tron plastic. I am not sure how the GRS plastic is designed. I imagine a 3D printed one would work. I considered doing that. What I did was pretty easy with the tools I have and it is defiantly stronger.
I was going to replace the spring to make it stiffer. With the longer stick, movement is way easier due to the leverage. The spring in there was already pretty stiff so I just stretched it out longer. Works much better now.
