Are they legal?
Do they work?

I seriously doubt they are legal because the YouTube video title linked on that page is "New Plug And Play Game Console With Over 46,000 games..." but I would guess they work as well as all the other PC's sold like that as they likely lifted the same ROM setup the rest of them use.
(I'd also guess the support is equally as poor -> ie: assume it takes 3 minutes to confirm/fix each game setting, with 46k games, that's over a year of full-time work... I *really* doubt they did that)

Hey man. Long time no type. I don't really know much about those boxes but one of the best set top pcs you can get for your money is the atari vcs, believe it or not. It's got a pretty decent AMD GPU/CPU inside so it's essentially a pc instead of this arm business. They sold for around $70 at Christmas so I got one and spent another $70 adding a M2 drive and new ram. Getting your boot partitions set up so you can dual boot between windows 10 and the built in os was a pain in the butt, but once you have windows 10 on there it'll emulate most stuff and even play higher end emulators like technoparrot no problem. It'll even play a lot of modern pc games. So I'm just saying, it's an option and allows you to run windows which may or may not be of use to you.

i am rebuilding my control panel to have flush mount stuff. I want to house everything in it included the computer. I am thinking retropie right now. I am looking at this monitor.

I am also going to make an infinity mirror marquee.
You want to know how old my arcade cabinet is? The iPac uses a PS/2 connector.
I just updated my 8 year old laptop from a 250gb nvme to a 2tb. Thinking of getting a nvme mount for my rpi4.
Oh look, I am still an admin.
