I need to reset the access pin on a JVL Echo HD3. I tried removing the battery and resetting the bios, and a factory reset but nothing has worked so far.
At this point I'm guessing reinstalling the software is my best bet, but I haven't been able to find any images of the software online.
Would anyone be able to share it with me?
Thanks!

The pin is set on the ioboard and therefore will persist through a software reinstall

Oh shoot that's a pain. Any ideas on how I can reset/bypass it? Maybe I did something wrong with my first attempts.

You used to be able to call Jvl and they could generate a reset code. Not sure if you can still get a hold of anyone there. Otherwise you could dump the io eeprom. I think I checked before and the pin was in clear text

Thanks! I'll give that a try.
Is there any instructions anywhere on how to dump the io eeprom? It looks like the programmer I have isn't compatible with this chip.

I doubt any guide exists for this. I believe I dumped mine with flashROM and ch341a such as this
