Anyone know where I can get a 6 pin female molex connector(interface) that will connect up to the 6 pin male molex connector found on the Betson Imperial Track Balls? I would like to hook one up to mouse hack without having to destroy (cut) the original factory interface.
Is a GOLDEN TEE GROM CABLE FOR TRACKBALL (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13718&item=3277119790&ssPageName=STRK:MEBWA:IT) what I'm looking for? What exactly is this used for? To interface a trackball to JAMMA? or Opti-Pac? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

I was digging into my box of spare parts the other day and found a 6 pin molex connector from Radio Shack that looks like it will fit my Betson-Imperial trackball. I haven't had the time to try it out yet, but I am pretty sure that it is the correct one.
Hope this helps,
Pyro

Here is a panel mount recepticle
http://www.mouser.com/index.cfm?handler=displayproduct&lstdispproductid=331297&e_categoryid=46&e_pcodeid=53801
Or you could try page 116 of the digi-key catalog.

There's no picture, is there? I can't find one. I'd be interested in some Molex connectors too, but I want to make sure I'm ordering the right ones.

Another question: how do I tell what pin size I have in my existing Molex connectors? They're either .062 or .093, not much of a difference between the two to see by my eye.

Molex pins for a betson trackball will fit into a molex connector for a computers PSU if that helps. the way I have my trackball connected without coutting the molex adaptor off is i removed the pins using a pin remover from radioshack. http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=274-223 (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=274-223).
then i just used an old 4 socket molex connectors from a old broken comp fan connected to a mouse hack and presto it works. the good thing about it is that you can use the 2 power pins from the trackball and stick them directly into a molex connector on your PSU for your +5 V

I know those are the same size, but I don't know what size those are.

they are .093
I bought the .062 and they are too small.
here is a link to mouser's pdf page.

I'm fairly certain that model number 538-03-09-1061 is what you need. It is panel mount, but should still work like a free hanging as well. They don't carry a free hanging one in size .093 for 6 socket.
I bought 538-03-06-1062, it was the exact type I needed, but it was size .062 and was too small.

Fantastic.
What's panel mount?

I believe that just means that it has clips on the side that allow it to attach to a piece of sheet metal, so it can be mounted in a metal enclosure.
