Title: Adobe Illustrator?
Post by: Nailz on March 08, 2004, 05:27:29 pm: I am starting to notice on some of the MAME artwork sites, in particular the Arcade Art Library, a lot of the files are saved in the .ai format.

Is there any other programs that are freely available to look at these pics? If not, does anyone know of a reasonable spot to find a copy? I found one on ebay for $70, just wasn't sure if that was a good deal or not, it was version 11 I believe.

Sorry for the dumb questions, but I love the amazing art some of you guys are doing and wouldn't mind trying it myself...

Post by: mahuti on March 08, 2004, 08:15:40 pm: We can always convert it. You could probably try Macromedia Freehand... it should be able to use the files. Nobody here mentions that tool. You can download it & use it for 30 days (like Illustrator). Either way, both demos are fully functional.

Can you get round the 30 day limit by re-installing the program every once in a while?
