When this baby hits 88 degrees an hour you're going to see some serious ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. :lol
Hi all a quick arcade i built over a few weeks of software preparing and such, fitting the components, the actual putting together took a few minutes at most.
It is an old nightstand i made holes in with a hammer and screwdriver and grip thongs, i just broke the wood off till there was a hole big enough :lol
Old I5 hexcore with Club 3D Radeon R9 280X royalQueen 16GB RAM, i spent like 30 bucks on it.
Fairly new free TV from a friend.
Old Xarcade Tankstick
And a himalayan salt lamp, no fancy marquees for me too expensive :lol
Software: CoinOps Ultimate Max
With the software Xoutput to convert the old Xarcade to Xinput, < lot of ex's :lol
Anyway although it is crappy it is good enough for me now, maybe i will put all that stuff in a real cab but for now good enough, just wanted to share.

Looks fine. I wish I had gone this route the 1st go around 10 years ago.

I like it. This is a great way to get a feel for the dimensions that suit you. I went all out on my upright, making it 'just so'. Once I had a few friends play on it with me we realised it's about 100mm too short, because well, we were shorter in the olden days 😄
So now my finely tuned design sits on a 100mm plinth.

nothing wrong with that. it is better than what I started out with. i did something similar with my x-arcade for a while and then decided to step it up later.
