Title: Ipac is going crazy
Post by: midd on December 14, 2024, 05:49:22 pm
about a month ago, I tried xinput mode on my ipac.  I was trying to get a game to run with it. Having no luck, I switched back to keyboard mode and since then, I have had no use of my buttons or controllers.

I tried a different ipac with the same results.  So it's leading to me to believe its a wiring issue.  Not long before that I added 5 more gold leaf buttons to replace regular LED buttons that I never had the leds wired for.

Now here's where it gets weird, I get switch to xinput and dinput mode by holding down the buttons.  But I can't switch back to keyboard unless I load the ipac config file. Ive been using keyboard test  to see if there is any response. When I move player 1 controller around, the shift values are shown instead of the primary value.  up is grave, right is tab and left is enter.  down isnt registered.  I don't have any key assinged as the shift key. and only 2 buttons are recognized but they are not what they are assigned to in Winpac.

I think it’s the last couple of gold leaf buttons that I purchased. When I run  a new ground as test, the proper value goes off immediately upon connecting it. But nothing happens when I tap on them even with the ground.
