ok i have mamewah with mame076b running an arcadevga to an old wg arcade monitor. everything is working great except the colors are not right when i play the games. for example: in pole position the grass is dark brown and the street is beige. the funny thing is the snapshot in the mamewah screen has corect colors so i know its not a monitor setting.all the snapshots look right but when you play the games they are wrong.has anyone had this problem or know what i did wrong and how to fix it?HELP!!! here are some pictures of what i am trying to say. the first pictures are the snaps and the second are the game playing.

Have you tried setting up a different MAME from scratch? Does it have the same problem?

Check your mame.ini for:
switchres 1
switchbpp 1
That is a long shot, I don't know much else to suggest. I had one person mention a very similar problem once, and it turned out the video drivers were to blame - perhaps try uninstalling + reinstalling those...

i think you hit the nail on the head i am having a problem with the drivers. for some reason i cant get the ati control panel to work and andy and ultimarc told me that he thinks i need to reinstall windows. so i guess that would be the next step. thanks for the info.
