Hi, I just found that my sega shifter (Nascar racing) doesn't press enough one of the switches, so it doesn't register. If I press the switch myself it's ok. What do you do in this case?

You're saying the shifter has, well, not deformed, but as it's aging it's changed shape, or the mounting for the switch has? Or is the switch the part at fault?
Can you shim the switch? Can you adjust anything, or bend something closer?

I tried to adjust, bend, etc. I solved the problem using tape on the metallic part. Like that it's a little more thick and the contact with the micro switch can be done.
