Title: Nextick Lightgun on Indiegogo - anyone heard anything about this?
Post by: greymatr on December 17, 2023, 06:28:44 am
There is a new lightgun that has an Indiegogo campaign, it is a completely wireless lightgun and needs no external sensors / light emitters etc.

They had a previous Indiegogo campaign which was also a controller like a lightgun but it was in the shape of a joystick / flightstick.

I am wondering if anyone has heard anything about either of these, particularly if anyone has used the original joystick type lightgun and how well it performs?

I know it sounds like a wiimote and I know how that performs but it may use newer sensors and programming to be better than that so I'm interested in how well this actually works.

Its a air mouse.

Just watch where the gun is aiming in relation to the screen/on screen cross hairs.

I wasn't sure if you meant what I thought you meant, that you're not actually aiming at the screen but just moving the cursor around... until I watched carefully and about 17 seconds into the second video he is aiming completely downwards and still moving the crosshairs around...

Well, I'm glad I asked, you've saved me a costly mistake, thanks :)
