Hello,
I'm running Groovyarcade with 31khz, under Xorg and CRT VGA monitor, everything works fine on horizontal even deformed vertical games, but when rotating most games don't sync and give a black screen.
My rig is a mini pc with Ryzen 7 and Ati Vega RX 10 with an hdmi>vga adapter (ugreen).
Maybe i'm missing something that messes with vertical resolutions ?
Cheers

Update :
I figured out some vertical games and some don't, for example all the cave/raizing work, but not the capcom/konami, it looks like some resolutions are not supported out of the box during the hdmi/vga conversion.
I already had a similar issue on Windows and needed to use EDID emulation to get over that, how is it possible to achieve that on Groovyarcade ?
Could be something totally different but i'm looking for workarounds
Also, is it possible to hack the bios to force 480p during boot / splash screen and setup sequences ?
It seems that the resolution is too high for 480p arcade monitors
Cheers

it turned out theproblem was with min dotclock not being set to 25.0
