Hey all,
I've been spending a lot of time working on rebuilding an original Daytona USA shifter that was in pretty rough shape. I've had some challenges finding replacement parts for it, so I thought I'd make a quick post to show my progress and detail some of my findings in case they are useful to others who are doing the same thing. All of the typical "wear piece" components of the shifter were either broken or needed to be replaced.
Of these parts, the easiest to find were the bearings that the shifter shaft itself fits into, which is Sega part number 100-5041. These bearings are F688ZZ Flanged Ball Bearing 8x16x5mm, which were easily found on Amazon.
The next part that I have been trying to find a replacement for is Sega part number 100-5176 Derurin Bearing, 26mm OD. This one took a bit of sleuthing, but it turns out that "Derurin" in Japanese translates to "Delrin" (a brand for Polyoxymethylene plastic). Through quite a lot of searching, I was able to find the following part which looks like it will work;

In case the link dies, the product is called "M6*8mm thread rod 26mm*8mm polyoxymethylene scroll wheel circular arc type pulley bearing guide wheels ring white color". I'll update this post when I receive the bearings to confirm that they are a suitable replacement.
Finally, the rubber stoppers; Sega part number DYN-2164. After nearly 30 years, these were crumbling to pieces every time I touched them. I reproduced this part in Fusion 360; The STL files are available for you to 3D print here; https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6163620
