Hi,
I'm building a new cab, I'm trying to setup a IPAC in windows 11.
I'm battling to wire up and validate they keyboard buttons. In the past there was a utility in WinIPAC that would show the exact keyboard inputs. No longer there and windows on screen keyboard doesn't really work.
Sorry for the basic question, I dont use Windows much and was surprised how difficult this was to fin in google.

Sounds like you're looking for a keyboard test program.
BobA uploaded one here (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,143389.msg1487465.html#msg1487465) or Jon wrote a great one that can log both key presses and key releases. (check the "Show key up events" box at the bottom of the window)
You can download Jon's program from archive.org. ;D

I use the KADE one. It shows multiple key presses simultaneously while some others do not.

Thank you that's exactly what I needed. I didn't think of archive.org
I'm not sure why these are just gone from the public internet. Perhaps too many false positives as malware being a key logger after all.
This got me hooked up!

I originally developed the keyboard input tester for use with KADE encoders 10 years ago. Happy to know it is still being used.
I am working on a much needed update and will have a release out very soon on my github.
