I seem to remember seeing someone that rigged up something with an original cab switch so that it would turn on their pc at the same time the cab power was turned on. I think they used some sort of circuit that charged up a cap that temporarily closed a relay or something.
After a lot of searching, all I can find is the opposite. A set up that turns on the cab when the PC is turned on using a relay or a modified power strip.
Does anybody else remember this too or am I just crazy?

It's not as difficult as that. The circuit you are thinking of, I believe, is to delay the power to the monitor.
Just rig the 110 to the power switch and then to the rest of the cab's AC (monitor, marquee, PC). Set the CMOS on the mainboard up so it powers up after power failure and the power switch will turn on the whole kit and kabootle.
