Hello all. I recently got the 2p xtension cabinet from RRM and, after having learned about an older RGB version of their controller that they used to carry, I was interested in replacing the black buttons for each player (12 total) on the controller I have. This controller comes with a minipac inside of it. The goldleaf RGB buttons have a 4 wire connector while the buttons I have are just a standard 2 pin button, so I'm trying to figure out whether the minipac will be able to accommodate all of those or if I need to buy additional hardware to make this work. I looked at the minipac wiring diagram, but I'm really green with all this and have no idea what I'm looking at.

This controller comes with a minipac inside of it. The 4-wire connector on the RGB Goldleaf is for the LED part of the button. It plugs in to PacLED64 or I-PAC Ultimate I/O boards.
- Yellow wire provides the operating voltage.
- Red, green, and blue wires are the ground channels for the red, green, and blue LEDs.

The switch part of the Goldleaf RGB buttons connects via 2.8mm/0.110" Quick Disconnect tabs, same as the regular Goldleaf buttons.

The Mini-PAC handles button switch inputs and optical (spinner/trackball) inputs. It does not have a built-in LED controller.
You can keep the Mini-PAC for the switch inputs and add a PacLED64 (https://www.ultimarc.com/output/led-and-output-controllers/pacled64/) as an LED controller . . .
or
. . . you can replace the Mini-PAC with an I-PAC Ultimate I/O (https://www.ultimarc.com/control-interfaces/i-pacs/i-pac-ultimate-i-o/) that handles the switch inputs and has a built-in LED controller.
